Thinking About Thinking, Inc
In 2020 I founded a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called Thinking About Thinking, which aims to help cultivate and spread the leading ideas about intelligence.
This has grown rapidly, and we now have a great team involved!
Our current activities include running Summits on Open Problems for AI, and a large annual conference on critical questions at the foundations of understanding and simulating intelligence (the “mathematics” of neuroscience and AI).

Every year we run a conference on artificial intelligence and the mathematics of neuroscience and AI:
This conference is radical: we want to challenge and progress our understanding of the brain, mind, and intelligence by introducing new unifying ideas and methods from mathematics (broadly defined).
For 2026 we have four sessions:
Neural Data
Neural Theory
Cognitive Science
Artificial Intelligence
The conference will be in June, in Rome.
